Kelly Garzon for the game-winning goal as the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team defeated Humboldt State 1-0 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Friday at College Creek Field.

The Toros improve to 4-8-1 overall and 3-5-1 in conference play. The Lumberjacks are 6-8-1 overall and 2-7-1 in the CCAA.

CSUDH was able to endure HSU's first half onslaught as goalie
Ruth-Maria Soto amassed seven saves in the period. Soto finished the game with a season-high 10 saves.

The Toros limited the Lumberjacks to four shots in the second half. In the 86th minute, Garzon found the net for her second score of the season, both game-winners.
