Toros on Outside of CCAA Postseason Looking In After 3-0 Loss at Sonoma State

PETALUMA -- Entering today's penultimate match against Sonoma State holding its CCAA postseason fate in its hands, the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team was blanked by the host Seawolves, 3-0, on an overcast and cold Thursday afternoon, putting the defending CCAA Champions' opportunity to defend its title in jeopardy.

Coupled with Cal State San Bernardino's stunning 3-1 come-from-behind win over league leader UC San Diego, the Toros find themselves in seventh place in the standings with one game left in the regular season, needing to best Humboldt State and hoping Cal State San Marcos can defeat the Coyotes or that Cal State LA drops its final two matches to sneak into the 6-team tournament after falling to 9-7-1, 6-5 CCAA.
