Brown and 4x100 Relay Just Miss "B" Marks at CSU Stanislaus Open

TURLOCK -- Senior All-American Charlene Brown just missed earning a "B" mark in her 2nd-place 400 meter dash finish at the CSU Stanislaus Open, crossing the line in 56.63, just over half a second off the 56.00 needed to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Championships in May.

Additionally, the 4x100 relay team of Sanita McNeally, LeShaya Evans, Brown and Kiana Cannon posted a 2nd-place finish in 47.18, just .07 off the 47.11 needed for a qualifying mark at the Open held at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium.

The other outstanding performances include the 4x400 relay that took home 1st-place honors behind McNeally, Cannon, Evans and Brown with a time of 3:54.20, as well as Evans who finished 2nd in the 100 meter dash in a time of 12.51 to round out the top finishers at today's meet.
