Tiny Lister Classic Gives Toros Chance to Set New Personal Marks

LOS ANGELES -- Both Monikkia White and Judith Fisher (pictured) each set personal bests in their respective events to highlight action for the Toros at the annual Tommy "Tiny" Lister Classic hosted by Cal State L.A.

Taping with a final time of 11.95 in the 100m dash, White's time bested all other NCAA Division II competitors in the event, while setting a new personal best for her at third place in the event.

White would also narrowly miss an NCAA automatic qualifying time in the race by a scant 0.3-seconds, while also missing the Toros' top-ten list in the event by 0.26-seconds, a list that has remained untouched since 2005.

Always versatile Fisher saw action in one track and four field events, setting a personal best time in the 100m hurdles at 19.86, good for 14th-place.

Other highlights include Dora Baldwin, who although not setting a personal best time did place ahead of all other D-II runners in the 400m dash at 56.06, good for third place.
