CSUDH Athletics Announces Opening of Associate Athletic Director Position

Cal State Dominguez Hills Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announces the Opening of the Associate Athletics Director position.

Job Description:

Perform a wide variety of administrative duties focusing on assisting with the executive direction of all aspects of the men's and women's athletics programs.

Primary responsibilities involve the development and management of athletic fundraising efforts for scholarships and programmatic needs; marketing, promotions and booster relations in support of the athletics program; oversight and negotiations for use of athletics facilities by both on- and off-campus entities; serving as the community affairs representative for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics; representing the University at California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) meetings as well as any functions assigned by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics; coordinating all sports camps that use CSUDH Athletics facilities.

Additional responsibilities include: external relations, oversight of the Toros Athletic Associates Annual Fund, supervision of sports and staff, day-to-day department and sport budget oversight, human resources, special events, and event management.

The Associate Athletics Director is responsible for following and enforcing institutional, conference and NCAA policies and regulations relevant to Cal State Dominguez Hills.

This position reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
