Carson, CA - Senior Valarie Tucker (Downey, CA/El Camino College) continues to be the front runner for the Toros cross country team this season, trimming her time for the third-straight meet, crossing the finish line in a time of 20:31.1. As a team, CSUDH would finish in 19th place.
Tucker would finish 123rd out of a field of 213, which featured runners from division I schools UNLV, UC Riverside, Pepperdine, and San Diego State.
The top runner from the CCAA was Adrienna Schumm from Cal Poly Pomona, came in 22nd with a time of 18:32.40
For CSUDH, Pamela Gonzalez (Los Angeles, CA/LACC) and Dorothy Andrews (Riverside, CA/Humboldt State) would also post season best times, finishing in a time of 21:43.0 and 25:59.7, respectively.

The Toros will next be in action Saturday, October 7 at the UNLV Invite in Las Vegas, NV, with a scheduled start time of 8:30 am.
