Jocelyn Diaz wins her first CSUDH Athlete of the Week award after using her first double-double as a member of the women's basketball team to post a win at Cal State San Marcos Thursday.

The junior set personal bests of 20 points and 14 rebounds in 35 minutes of playing time. In fact, half of her 14 boards came from the offensive side. She also went 2-for-2 on the free throw line.

A native of Montebello, Diaz has appeared in all 11 games with five of them starts. She is averaging 6.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She's also shooting 47 percent from the field.
