Khalil Bedart-Ghani wins this week's CSUDH Athlete of the Week award after being a major factor to the men's basketball team's near-upset victory at No. 20 UC San Diego Monday. It is Bedart-Ghani's second weekly honor in the last month.

Bedart-Ghani reached new heights in terms of points and free throws. Seven of his 21 points came from the charity stripe. He also grabbed a team-most six rebounds.

He also setup a small run late in the game that enabled the Toros to tie the Tritons at the end.

A junior transfer from the University of San Diego, Bedart-Ghani has started all but one game this season and is averaging 9.3 points per game. He's also a 31.3 percent shooter.
