Joe Bresson takes home this week's CSUDH Athlete of the Week after an outstanding outing despite the baseball team's 2-0 defeat to Cal State L.A. Thursday.

The right-hander reached his first complete-game on 103 pitches, striking out five and allowing three hits and two walks on 103 pitches. The Toros conceded two unearned runs on as many errors in the sixth that proved to be the difference in the game.

Bresson, a native of Bakersfield, has started a dozen games this season and is 4-3 with a 2.48 ERA. He's also fanned 29 batters.
