Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics

Senior, Akiyama batted .538 in last weekend's series split with Cal State Stanislaus.

In starting all four games he hit 7-for-12 which included a double, five runs scored, and two runs batted in.  He also reached once on a walk.

Without committing a single error as the starting second baseman, Akiyama recorded eight assists along with eight put-outs on the weekend.
