Against SSU to start CCAA Conference play, she tossed a complete game 4-hitter with 3 strikeouts and just one earned run allowed, before tossing a perfect inning of relief in the rain-shorted second game. The following day, the Chino native threw a complete-game 6 hit shutout with 3 Ks, following that with her third complete game victory over the Seawolves on Sunday, this time scattering 5 hits with 2 strikeouts.
Overall Farfan boasted a miniscule 0.25 ERA while picking up two shutouts in all three complete game CSUDH wins, including a complete game in the loss in which she allowed no earned runs, as the Toros opened the 2009 CCAA season with a 3-1 record, tied for first place in the conference.
