Freshman Kevin Castillo charged back from three strokes down to finish two shots ahead of his teammate and in an 18th-place tie as the second and final day of the Elco, Inc. Intercollegiate came to an end at the Bakersfield Country Club, hosted by Cal State Bakersfield.

After shooting 6- and 4-over par over the first two rounds yesterday, Castillo matched his second round total of 76 this morning to total 230 over the three rounds.
