Samiya Terry joined Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics in August 2026 as the Game Operations and Facilities Coordinator. In her role, she supports the planning and execution of home athletic events, facility operations, event staffing, and game-day logistics for the Toros.
Terry brings experience across multiple areas of collegiate and professional athletics. Prior to joining CSUDH, she served as the Sports & Fitness Coordinator with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson and gained experience in athletic communications, event operations, and administration through roles with Cal State Monterey Bay, the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), and Angel City FC.
A former NCAA Division II women’s basketball student-athlete at Cal State Monterey Bay, Terry brings a student-athlete perspective to her work and a strong understanding of the behind-the-scenes operations that support successful athletic programs.
Terry earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from California State University, Monterey Bay and her Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management from Point Loma Nazarene University. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Sports Leadership at Concordia University Chicago.
