Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics

Natalie Magallon begins her first season as the assistant volleyball coach at Cal State Dominguez Hills, bringing experience from four seasons at Rio Hondo College. Magallon’s volleyball journey started with 10 years of club play for Commerce Crush Volleyball Club, followed by four years on the varsity team at Bell Gardens High School.

After high school, she continued her career at Rio Hondo College, competing in both indoor and beach volleyball as a libero and setter. She then transferred to the State University of New York at Potsdam, where she pursued a degree in Exercise Science while also playing for the Bears. As the starting libero at SUNY Potsdam, Magallon left her mark on the record books, finishing fifth in career digs (1,252) and setting the program record for digs per set (5.99).
