Greg Humbert returns for his sixth season as assistant coach for the Cal State Dominguez Hills baseball program, having joined the Toros for the 2020 season.
The 2020 season was becoming a promising one for the Toros, going 12-10 overall and 11-5 in the CCAA until the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly and disappointedly canceled the remainder of the season. The Toros never lost a CCAA series against four opponents and along the way had won seven straight games for the first time in 10 years. Although the CCAA decided to not name all-conference selections, Pierson Loska, Aaron Greenfield and Dylan Steen were selected to the one-time created CCAA All-Star team.
