Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics

Chante'-Alexis has served as the Assistant Coach of the Dance Team since 2023. A native of Southern California, Chante-Alexis graduated from CSUDH in with a B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising. During her tenure as a student-athlete from 2016 to 2018, she helped lead the team to back-to-back West Coast Championships in Hip Hop, as well as back-to-back Hip Hop titles at the United Spirit Association (USA) Collegiate Championships. While attending Dominguez Hills, she also expanded her involvement within the athletics department by serving as a Student Assistant for the Teddy the Toro mascot team.

As a coach, Chante-Alexis has continued her championship legacy, assisting the program to a 2024 NDA National Championship in Division II Spirit Rally. 

In addition to her coaching duties, Chante-Alexis is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in School Counseling, further deepening her commitment to the mentorship and holistic development of student-athletes. Her dual perspective as a former athlete and an aspiring counselor allows her to support the team in both technical excellence and personal success.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and stays active in the Toro community as one of the resident gameday DJs for CSUDH basketball games.
