Coach Benny has been coaching basketball for 18 years, at all levels that include grassroots, high school & junior college. Most recently he serves as Associate Head Coach at LA Southwest College. He also served as Assistant Varsity Coach at Cypress High School. Coach Benny worked in the finance industry for 25 years, after playing his college career for legendary CSUDH Coach, David Yanai, at Cal State LA (1997-1999). Prior to his time at Cal State LA, Coach Benny starred at LA Valley College, where he was named Co-MVP of the Western State Conference and earned All State Juco recognition (1997). He is married to Amie Lam and they have two sons, Riley & Terrence. The live in Cypress, CA.
