Asia Jordan enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Cal State Dominguez Hills women’s basketball program in 2026-27, returning to the program where she established herself as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in Toro women’s basketball history.
A Los Angeles-area native, Jordan competed for the Toros from 2021-25 and developed into one of the premier forwards in the CCAA. She earned First Team All-CCAA honors in each of her four seasons, becoming a consistent presence on both ends of the floor throughout her collegiate career.
Jordan concluded her playing career with a memorable 2024-25 senior campaign, helping lead CSUDH to CCAA regular-season and tournament championships and an NCAA West Regional title. She was named the CCAA Tournament MVP before earning NCAA West Regional Most Outstanding Player honors after averaging 17.3 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the field during the regional tournament. Jordan also earned D2 CCAA Second Team All-West Region honors.
Throughout her career, Jordan was known for her efficiency, rebounding, physicality and competitive presence. As a junior, she averaged 14.8 points and 11.5 rebounds per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field. Her consistency helped establish her as a four-time All-CCAA First Team selection.
Jordan now brings that championship experience and familiarity with the Toro program into her role on the coaching staff. Jordan graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in Sociology.
As she begins her collegiate coaching career, Jordan looks to give back to the program that helped shape her as a student-athlete while helping the next generation of Toros pursue success on the court, in the classroom and beyond.
