Victor De La Cruz has been coaching for eight years and begins his first season in the fall of 2024 with Cal State University, Dominguez Hills. He also spent four years with Rio Hondo College as the Assistant Coach in where he helped the Roadrunners win The South Coast Conference for the first time since 1995. Los Altos High School girl's program as head freshmen coach as well as two years with the Los Altos men’s program as assistant varsity coach where he helped the Conquerors win CIF division 4 for the first time in program history. He has coached with Icon Volleyball Club (age 12-18) for the past six years, currently part Gold Medal Squared staff, and currently serves as head Men’s varsity coach at La Mirada High School.
As a player, De La Cruz was a two-time, first-team All-Area for both soccer and volleyball at Los Altos High School. At the collegiate level, Coach De La Cruz played outside hitter and setter for Westcliff University from 2019-2020.
