Jordan begins his first season on the Toros sideline after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at San Diego Mesa College.
Prior to coaching at SDMC, Jordan was captain of the men’s volleyball team from 2005-2006, where he was named to the 1st-Team All-Conference both years.
In addition to his coaching duties at SDMC, Jordan acted as the head coach of San Diego State’s Men’s Club team were he led them to a 9th-place in the National Collegiate Club Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.
As a prep Jordan was a member of the Mira Costa High School team that won back-to-back C.I.F. Championships.
“Jordan is a bright young coach who comes from championship lineage,” begins Davenport. “He has a couple of national championships in high school and went to the Junior Olympics in club volleyball. He played for some of the better coaches when he was a junior so he brings knowledge and experience to the table to share with the players.”
