Christine Tran

After a stellar two-year career in the Cardinal & Gold, Tran returns to the sidelines for her third year on Davenport’s side. Tran saw her first action as a coach in 2006 before taking a two-year break to return last year.

Prior to coaching at CSUDH in 2006, Tran held a three-year stint as the head coach for the varsity girls volleyball program at Pacifica High School while also assuming duties as a coach for Surf City Volleyball Club in Southern California, working with the 15s and 16s.

In her two-year career as a Toro, Tran recorded 414 kills and 549 digs and helped to lead the Toros to a 14-14 overall record in 2004, their best record in the past five years.

Tran, who received her degree in Digital Media Arts-T.V. Production from Cal State Dominguez Hills in May of 2006, is single and resides in Huntington Beach.
