Andrea Buckner

Buckner, who is entering her first season on the sidelines for the Toros has more than 14 years of experience in the world of volleyball spanning the high school, club and college levels.

Aside from her assistant coaching duties at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Buckner is also a coach for TCA Volleyball, a nationally recognized club program. At TCA she coached both the 14s and 18s age level, with her squad competing in the Junior Olympics in Miami, Florida.

Prior to TCA, Buckner spent 13 years in the Antelope Valley, coaching at many of the high schools in the area and for the Antelope Valley Volleyball Club. Buckner also spent the summers of 2008 and 2009 with the USA High Performance Youth Red Team.

Buckner received her bachelors degree in biology from University of Hawai’i-Hilo and a master’s degree in sports management & coaching theory from American Public University.
