Rosaura Guerrero-Escobedo

Rosaura Guerrero-Escobedo enters her fourth year as an assistant coach with the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer program in 2023.

A former Toro captain, Guerrero-Escobedo transitioned from a student-athlete to a member of the coaching staff for her alma mater during the 2019 campaign. 

In her first year on the sideline, the 2019 Toros made a CCAA Championship appearance for the first time in 10 years.

Guerrero-Escobedo played two years for the Toros (2017-18) after transferring from Lake Tahoe Community College and played in 24 games, logging 577 minutes with one goal. At Lake Tahoe Community College she logged 29 career goals with 15 assists and was named the 2016 Golden Valley Conference MVP. 

Outside of Dominguez Hills, Guerrero-Escobedo coached the U-12 boys Invictus soccer team in Long Beach.

Guerrero-Escobedo graduated from Dominguez Hills in 2020 with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy.
