Williams begins her first year as an assistant coach for the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball program after a stellar two-year career at crosstown rival Cal State L.A., where she played under current assistant coach Janell Jones.
As a Golden Eagle, Williams averaged nearly 20 points per game as a senior, shooting 82% from the foul line, 47% from the floor and 45% from behind the arc.
She was named the CCAA Newcomer of the Year as a junior en route to earning a 1st-team All-CCAA nod, 2nd-team All-West honors and three CCAA Player of the Week accolades.
As a senior, she established the CSULA records for minutes, free throws made / attempted and 3-point field goal percentage, also leading the CCAA in points, finishing 3rd in 3PT FG% and FT%, and 4th in minutes.
After competing collegiately, she served as an assistant coach at Monroe High School for one season, with MHS qualifying for the CIF postseason tournament.
