Toro Tidbits: Became only the third Toro to claim All-America honors, and just the second to earn the CCAA Player of the Year award ... Holds record for home runs in both a single season and a career with two years left in Carson ...

2010: Earned NFCA 3rd-team All-America honors, only the third player in the program to do so ... Also claimed CCAA Player of the Year honors, just the second Toro to win the award after leading the NCAA and CCAA in sacrifice flies, and also finishing 1st in RBI, 2nd in home runs, 4th in slugging percentage, 6th in total bases, 9th in batting average and 10th in hits in the CCAA ... Named Worth/CCAA Player of the Week in late April after helping Toros clinch first-ever berth in CCAA Championship tournament ... Enjoyed 18 multi-hit games and 15 multi-RBI contests, including two games with 5 RBI (vs Humboldt State on Feb 13, vs San Francisco State on April 23) ... One of three Toros to start all 54 games ... Drew 3 walks in both nightcaps of a four-game series against San Francisco State (April 23-24) ... Earned one CCAA Player of the Week honor en route to finishing amongst the league’s best in 8 offensive categories, including on-base percentage (3rd), walks (4th), batting average (5th), triples (T7th), slugging percentage (8th), hits (T8th), total bases (10th) and RBI (T10th) ... Just missed batting .400 for the season, dipping below with just six games left in the regular season ... Established CSUDH single-season record for walks (32) ... One of three Toros to start all 58 games, led team in hits, RBI, batting average, slugging & on-base percentages, walks and triples, and was second in home runs, and 4th in runs scored and doubles ... El Modena HS: Led Vanguards to consecutive state titles as a junior and senior, finishing with a 28-8 record as a senior under coach Steve Harrington ...
