Former Toro infielder Lexi Madrid returns to her alma mater to serve as an assistant coach under Jim Maier starting the 2021 season.

Madrid, a native of San Gabriel, transferred to Dominguez Hills for her junior season after playing one year at Luna College and another at Glendale College. In two seasons donning the Cardinal and Gold, Madrid made 45 appearances, two of them were starting roles.
