Caitlyn Ratcliffe begins her third season as a certified athletic trainer at Cal State Dominguez Hills after serving on staff at the Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation (SCAR), where she provided clinical evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries, designed treatment and rehabilitation programs for athletic injuries.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle, WA, she attended William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA, on a softball scholarship, where she graduated with a Physical Education degree in Strength and Conditioning.
She then earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University.
Ratcliffe returned from a summer 2012 trip to Africa where she helped develop a physiotheraphy and wellness clinic, and traveled to China with the USA Men's Basketball Team as its athletic trainer.
She is a member of NATA, CATA and the Far West Athletics Trainers Association. In addition, Ratcliffe is an American Red Cross instructor.
