Biography

2008: Earned Toros' first ever National Fastpitch Coaches Association's (NFCA) National Player of the Week award after winning three games in three appearances against eventual NCAA National Champion Humboldt State (March 14-15), boasting a 1.17 ERA in 6.0 innings pitched, allowing 6 hits and just 1 earned run while limiting HSU to a .240 batting average ...  Also named to All-CCAA 2nd-team as a true freshman after compiling 9-5 record and 2.61 ERA in first college season ... Tied for 2nd in saves in the CCAA ... Fanned at least 3 batters in 6 games, including season-best 6 Ks at Sonoma State (April 25) ... Tossed 2-hit masterpiece against the Jacks in 1-0 setback in the Tournament of Champions Championship game (March 30) ... At the plate, went 2-for-2 in first college game vs. Seattle (Feb 1), the start of a season-best four-game hit streak and the first of 3 multi-hit contests ... Boasted a 3-game RBI streak to start the season ... Stole first base as a Toro vs. UC San Diego (Feb 2).

North HS: Led Saxons to back-to-back league championships, compiling 23-9 overall and 9-1 conference marks as a senior under coach Howard Miller … Three-time All-League honoree … Named Most Offensive Player and MVP as a prep … Named to AAF/All-SS Div.
