Biography

2007: Named a 2nd-team All-CCAA selection ... One of just two players to play all 52 games, making 49 starts on the season … Solidified herself in right field, finishing year 1st in RBI on the team, 2nd on the team in batting average, 3rd in hits and slugging %, and 4th in home runs … Enjoyed 10 multi-hit contests, 9 multi-RBI games, including season-best 3 RBI in a 13-8 win vs. Cameron University (Feb. 14), and one game in which she scored 2 runs … Also belted first home run as a Toro in contest against Cameron … Boasted two six-game hit streaks on the year.

Cypress JC: Two-year starter under coach Brad Pickler, compiling a 53-5 record in 2006 and both state and conference titles … Named 1st-team all-conference, 2nd-team all-state as a Charger … Batted .447 with slugging percentage of .631 as single season bests, including 45 RBI.

Fullerton HS: Two-sport athlete (softball, soccer) … Four-year letter-winner under softball coach Chris Young and soccer coach Narcisco … A 4-year scholar athlete … Named team MVP and “Most Inspirational” … Named to 1st and 2nd-team All-CIFs … Received Scholastic Athlete Award from the Marine Corps, and the Academic Athletic Excellence Award from the US Army.
