LA Mission College: Twice named all-league including a 2nd-team nod as a sophomore after posting a 5-3 record in 11 starts while pitching 63.2 innings ... Went 5-1 mark in league play with a 3.12 ERA ... Earned all-league honorable mention honor as a freshman after 4 starts and 14 appearanes in 33.1 innings of work.

Valencia HS: A three-sport athlete as a Viking (baseball, basketball, and track) ... Placed 2nd in high jump in Foothill League ... As a senior, led team in starts (7) en route to a league championship under Coach Jared Snyder.
