Toros Rally Past Western Washington 2-1 Behind Rosas’ Game-Winner

CARSON, Calif. – Cal State Dominguez Hills bounced back in a big way Thursday night, defeating Western Washington 2-1 at Toro Stadium.

After falling behind early, the Toros responded in the 22nd minute when Cameron Belandres netted the equalizer off a setup from Ramiro Rosas. The momentum carried into the second half, with Rosas providing the game-winner in the 73rd minute, assisted by defender David Politron.

Dominguez Hills outshot the Vikings 10-4 and earned 10 corner kicks, controlling the pace of play throughout the match. Goalkeeper Keegan O'Brien added two saves to secure the win.

With the result, the Toros improve to 2-1 overall.

CSUDH will stay home for another non-conference matchup, hosting Seattle Pacific on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Toro Stadium.
