LOS ANGELES, Calif. – At the Oxy Distance Carnival and Spring Break Classic, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros delivered remarkable performances across a range of events, showcasing the depth and talent of their women's team.
In the 100 Meters, sophomore
Leloni Ervin led the way for the Toros, finishing 13th with a time of 13.01 seconds. Freshman
Alyssa Renwick wasn't far behind, securing the 19th place with a time of 13.15 seconds. Another freshman,
Melandy Davis, showed her potential by placing 26th with a time of 13.38 seconds. Sophomore
Chantel Palmer also competed, finishing 42nd with a time of 15.61 seconds.
In the Women's 800 Meters, sophomore
Leticia Soloman took on the challenge, finishing with a time of 3:02.55. Though placing 49th, her participation underscores the Toros' versatility and commitment across different track disciplines.
A highlight for the Toros came in the Women's 4 x 100 Relay, where the team of
Melandy Davis,
Leloni Ervin,
Teloni Ervin, and
Alyssa Renwick clinched the 3rd place with a time of 49.36 seconds. This impressive performance not only showcases their speed and coordination but also highlights the strong team chemistry and potential for future success.
