B. Lee Scores In Final Seconds For Win Against Western Oregon University

CARSON – After the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros took an early 2-0 lead against the Western Oregon Wolves, with the game tied and only seconds left, Brandon Lee scored the winning goal for the Toros victory, 3-2.
 
The game began with an electrifying moment at the 9:29 mark, as Jhoel Sarraude, assisted by B. Lee, secured an early lead for the Toros with a spectacular goal. The Toros were off to a promising start, and their offensive kept the pressure on the Wolves.
 
The Toros continued to dominate the first half, and at the 12:03 mark, Chunghwan Lee capitalized on a remarkable opportunity, expertly assisted by Sarraude and Martin Velasquez. The combination of teamwork and skill was on full display, as the Toros extended their lead, 2-0 going into the second half.
 
However, the game took a turn in the 56th minute when WOU, made their presence felt as they managed to put one past the Toros' defense, narrowing the gap.
 
As the clock continued to tick, the Wolves continued their momentum, and in the 77th minute WOU capitalized on an opportunity, leveling the score, 2-2.
 
With the game hanging in the balance in the 89th minute, B. Lee executed a crucial goal that was assisted by Michael McKibbin. The Toros emerged victorious, with a final score of 3-2.
 
The Toros next match is on the road as they head to Santa Barbara to face the Westmont College Warriors on Saturday September 7th at 6pm.
