Women's Soccer Shutout by Colorado Mesa to Wrap Up Road Trip

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team was shut out by host Colorado Mesa 5-0 to wrap up its visit in Colorado Sunday.

The Mavericks' Evelyn Hammer scored four of the five goals, including the first three within 20 minutes.

Dominguez Hills recorded only eight shots on the day, five on goal. Taleah Carter tallied two of them.

After starting the first three matches of the season on the road, the Toros will finally get to open their home schedule Thursday taking on Simon Fraser. Due to field maintenance happening on Toro Stadium, the match has been relocated to the Dignity Health Sports Park Field #3. Kickoff is at 5 p.m.
