Toros Win Streak Halted by Gators

SAN FRANCISCO – Auren Isaacson scored nine points, Amaya Snowden added eight along with 11 rebounds to match her career high, but the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team opened the 2022 side of their season with a 59-57 defeat to San Francisco State in the Swamp Thursday night.

Following a pair of free throws by Isaacson to tie the game at 57 with 38 seconds left, the Gators broke that tie 23 ticks later on an Ashley Hart jumper. The Toros went for the win with a 3-pointer attempt by Hosanna Walker at the top of the key, but the shot missed and went out of bounds to hand the possession to the Gators.
