CALIFORNIA – Despite the abrupt and disappointing cancellation to the spring sports' season, it did not stop 15 Cal State Dominguez Hills student-athletes from the sports of softball, baseball, women's track & field and men's golf from joining a new record 448 others in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in being named to the conference's Spring All-Academic team for an outstanding performance in the {virtual} classroom.
The CCAA Spring All-Academic team also consists of student-athletes from the women's golf and men's track & field teams, two programs CSUDH does not sponsor. The CCAA recognizes individuals academically per season – fall, winter and spring – for all conference-sponsored sports. In order to earn CCAA All-Academic team honors, a student-athlete must be of sophomore athletic standing or higher and own a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average or better while competing in a Conference-sponsored sport in that season.
