CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team fell to Chico State by a final score of 2-0 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Friday inside the Dignity Health Sports Park main stadium.

The Toros drop to 1-4-1 overall and 0-1 in the CCAA. The Wildcats remain unbeaten at 5-0.

Chico State did not take long to score, as Jacob Chong found the back of the net in the fourth minute. The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead into halftime, with the two teams even, 5-5, on shots in the first 45 minutes.

CSUDH outshot the Wildcats 4-3 in the second half, but could not score. Chico State added insurance in the 82nd minute.

The Toros will host Stanislaus State on Sunday, Sept. 29 at DHSP Field #3 at 2 p.m. for their next matchup.
