Daniel Castorena netted the golden goal as the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team defeated Sonoma State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Friday at Toro Stadium, by a final score of 1-0 in double overtime.
The Toros improve to 3-5-1 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Seawolves drop to 4-5-1 overall and 3-2 in the CCAA.
With 2:35 left on the clock in double overtime, Castorena hit a right-footed shot to the upper left corner, right out of the reach of Sonoma State goalkeeper Derik Engebretsen,from the top if the box.

Julian Tafolla-Cisneros made four saves.
The Toros will travel to Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday, Oct. 17 for their next match, scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
