Heaven Holmes, the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team took down Biola by a final score of 74-65 in a non-conference matchup, Saturday night at the Torodome. The Toros improve to 2-0, while the Eagles drop to 0-2.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- CSUDH had a six-point advantage after the first 10 minutes, 23-17, aided by a buzzer-beating corner 3-pointer by Holmes.
- The Toros were outscored 19-7 in the second quarter and trailed 36-30 at halftime.
- Biola grabbed its biggest lead of the game, 40-30, with nine minutes to go in the third period. -- The Toros went on a 13-4 run from there and took back the lead and did not trail again for the rest of the game.
- CSUDH won the third quarter, 26-14, led by Holmes 13 points in the period.
- The Toros kept the Eagles at bay in the fourth and ultimately prevailed by nine points.
- CSUDH won the rebounding war 39-36, including 21-14 on the offensive end.
- The Toros also had the advantage in turnovers, 22-13.
