CARSON -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team was defeated 4-0 by Chico State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Thursday night at Toro Stadium.

The Wildcats improve to 10-5-1 overall and 6-4-1 in conference play. The Toros drop to 4-9-2 overall and 3-5-2 in the CCAA.

Chico State took the lead in the 30th minute with a goal from Brielynn Tovani. The Wildcats led 1-0 at halftime.

Three minutes into the second half, Tovani scored once again to give Chico State a 2-0 lead. The Wildcats made it 4-0 in a span of 38 seconds in the 68th minute with consecutive goals from Erin Woods and Kasey Cruz.

Ruth-Maria Soto compiled three saves in 71 minutes at goal.
Elisa Martin played the final 19 minutes and recorded one save.
