Relay Lowers Mark, Kemp Posts Best Individual Finish at UC San Diego's Triton Invite

LA JOLLA -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills 4x100 relay team lowered its season-best time by three one-hundreths of a second, while Zefora Kemp's effort in the 400 meter dash was the best individual finish for the Toros at the UC San Diego-hosted Triton Invite today.

Kemp posted a top 30 finish in the 400 meter dash, crossing the line in 26th place after her 59.89 time.

The relay team, consisting of Sanita McNeally, Tyrana Beasley, Kemp and Mariah Walker, finished 3rd in 47.23, the best mark of the year for the Cardinal and Gold and just over two-tenths of a second off an NCAA provisional mark.
