Box Score

TURLOCK -- Senior Elizabeth Krieger led the Toros with 15 kills, but host Cal State Stanislaus took a 3-0 sweep over Cal State Dominguez Hills to drop them to 8-8, 1-7 CCAA.
The win snapped a five-match skid for the Warriors, and extended CSUDH's winless streak to two in falling to 8-8 and 1-7 in CCAA play.

CSUS, meanwhile, improved to 5-12 and 2-7 in the CCAA as the Warriors hit a season-best .278 in the 25-22, 25-21, 25-18 sweep.

Blair Ehrlich hit .310 on the night with 12 kills on 29 attempts with just three errors, and was aided by Jocelyn Cerventas' 10 putaways.

In the first set, the Toros yielded 12 points to the Warriors on service errors with six and six hitting errors to help Stanislaus win 25-22.

The Warriors then used the momentum to its advantage controlling the pace of the match the rest of the night.

CSUDH's leading hittier, Alijah Gunsaulus had eight kills and was joined by Whitney Lee who also put away eight balls on the night as CSUDH hit .206 for the evening.

The Toros' road trip doesn't get any easier tomorrow night in Chico as CSUDH faces the Wildcats for a 7 pm first serve after CSUC dropped a marathon 5-setter to Cal State L.A. earlier tonight.
