Box Score
Los Angeles, CA - CSUDH was no match for No. 19 Cal State L.A. as the Golden Eagles boasted a team hitting percentage of .330 to the Toros' .094 en route to a convincing 30-23, 30-21, 30-19 sweep.  With the loss the Toros fall to 2-19, 1-9 CCAA.
Marissa Anderson paced CSUDH with 10 kills and a .200 hitting percentage, one of only two Toros to post a positive hitting percentage, while Sophia Lopes followed with eight kills on the night.
CSULA was superior in nearly every category on the night, and not even the Golden Eagles' deficiency in their aggressive service game (15 service errors to to CSUDH's 8) could give the Toros a reprieve as the hosts managed three more service aces in the sweep.
Ursula Vieira's 11 and Lindsay Laakso's 10 kills led the way for CSULA as the two combined for just three attack errors, while setter Keslie Brown dished 34 assists compared to 23 for CSUDH setter Tiffany Bull.
The Toros' CCAA road trip doesn't get any easier as they travel to No. 23 UC San Diego tomorrow night, with first serve in RIMAC Arena set for a 7:00 pm start.
