CARSON, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills' Tara Senff (Palos Verdes/So. Torrance HS) capped an exciting comeback knocking in the game-winning goal five minutes into the extra period to give the Toros Toro Field.out to an early 1-0 lead when Maryann Boddy slipped a pass inside the box to Cassy Smith who beat Toro goalie Lisa Agramonte (Lakewood/Mayfair HS) to the far post.

Seattle University (5-1-0) jumped a 2-1 upset over No. 2-ranked Seattle University Thursday afternoon at

CSUDH (4-0-0) changed their game plan in the second half and peppered Seattle goalie Ashley Angerer, outshooting the Redhawks 13-6 in the second half alone. SU defenders cleared three would be goals off the goal line in the half to preserve the one-goal lead.

With just under four minutes remaining in regulation, Senff took a shot from the right flank that was deflected by Angerer inside the box. Freshman Kristen Boskovich (Palos Verdes/Peninsula HS), who had just checked in thirty seconds early, gathered the ball in front of the goal and leveled the game after tapping the ball in at the far post.

That equalizer by Boskovich set up Senff's heroics in overtime. Senff took the ball from Rachele McDonald (Ventura/Buena HS) and hit a 35-yard blast over Angerer's hands and into the back of the net for the game-winner.

The win was the first-ever for the Toros over Seattle in four meetings, including a 1-0 loss in the NCAA playoffs last year.

Agramonte made one save in goal to earn her third win of the season. Angerer suffered the loss allowing both goals while making five saves on the day. For the match, CSUDH outshot Seattle 19-7 and had a 7-1 advantage on corner kicks.

CSUDH is back in non-conference action on Saturday at home taking on Seattle Pacific University. First kick is set for 12:30.
