Huntington Beach, CA – True freshman Kristin Glen (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA/Trabuco Hills HS) led the Toros at the UC Irvine Invitational this afternoon, crossing the line of the 5k run in a time of 20:19.1, finishing in 61st place. The Rancho Santa Margarita native finished just a little over two minutes later than Katie Lee of Chico State, who won the race in a time of 17:59.1.

As a team, Chico State picked up win with 48 points, while the Toros finished 17th of 17 schools.

The Toros head to San Diego next Saturday to compete in the San Diego State Invitational, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
