Senior sharp-shooter Jessica Liang knocked down eight three-point shots while scoring in double-figures in both games this weekend to help the Toros to an 2-0 start to the 2007-08 season.

Against the University of Tamp Liang tied for team-high scoring honors with 13 points while pulling down five rebounds.

The following night against Northwest Nazarene the Alhambra native went 5-for-5 five from beyond the arc en route to her fist 20-point output of the season.

Over the weekend Liang averaged 16.5 points and four rebounds per game, while playing a team-high 69 minutes on the floor.
