Kiara Mendoza wins the CSUDH Athlete of the Week award after racking up 17.2 innings of pitching against San Francisco State last week. The Toros took 3-of-4 against the Gators as the 'road team' at Toro Diamond.

Mendoza started two of three appearances, earning her first career save and went 1-1. She also allowed two runs while striking out two.
