Women's basketball's Simone Thompson repeats as CSUDH's Athlete of the Week winner only this time she led the effort in both scoring and rebounding on the road last weekend.

The senior from Gardena combined for 29 points and 13 rebounds in the Toros two losses at Stanislaus State and Chico State. Along with scoring 20 against the Wildcats, Thompson came within one rebound from earning her first double-double.

Thompson has appeared in every game this season and is averaging 11.5 points. She's also shooting 36.7 percent from the field while leading the team with 35 3-pointers made.
