Jonathan Nichols wins his first CSUDH Athlete of the Week award after coming off the bench and helping the men's basketball team win at Cal State San Marcos Thursday.

Nichols came up big for the Toros as a sub by dropping a season-high 14 points in 11 minutes of work. He was also two points shy from matching his career record. In addition, he made 6-of-7 free throws and grabbed two rebounds.

The redshirt junior has made four appearances this season, scoring a total of 25 points.
