Simone Thompson wins her first CSUDH Athlete of the Week award after hitting four of her five total field goals from beyond the arc for 16 points in the Toros loss at Cal State LA Friday.

In addition, Thompson set season-highs of five rebounds and steals each.

The redshirt senior has appeared in all nine games, two of them were starts, and is averaging 10.6 points per game. She also holds the best 3-point field goal percentage (37.7) among the Toros.
